I just found out that my mother saw The Monkees in concert in 1967! She said she can’t remember the show that well, except that she screamed through the entire thing and lost her voice! Also, the opening act was the Jimi Hendrix Experience! I can’t believe she never mentioned it before. How crazy is that?
